I was born in the Rockies in Canada, each year the call of the geese would herald that winter was over. These geese symbolise a return of hope, of the rebirth of spring.
This is the painting that started my Blue Nature series. When a goose began to nest on the island outside my studio in London, it inspired me and I began to paint my animals.
